Makeup Edit: My Top 5 Bright Mac Lipsticks

You may have noticed from some of my face of the day's lately that I have really been loving bold lips. I know some people find them a little intimidating and up until recently I was one of them, but honestly they make such a statement and look amazing on everyone. The main reason for my foray into bright lipsticks recently is purely because I have had humongous eye bags for the last few weeks and I needed something to distract from them, they really are the best distraction if you are having a bad skin day.

So here are a few of my favourite, in you face colours:

Favourite Bold Mac Lipsticks
Mac Impassioned Lipstick
It's a gorgeous pinky, red, this is the perfect red lipstick. You can see me wearing it here:

Mac Pink Nouveau Lipstick
  Pink Nouveau.
This was my first "out there" colour I ever bought. It's a lovely bright pink with a little purple in it. I don't have a picture of me wearing it, but I will be sure to do a face of the day using it soon.

Mac Girl About Town Lipstick
 Girl About Town.
This lipstick is one of the most famous and is the perfect "night out" lipstick, hence the fab name. It has a little more purple in it and is a more blue toned pink.

Mac Show Orchid Lipstick
 Show Orchid.
This is probably my favourite, hands down. It's amazing, it is quite hard to get hold of, but if you can, do it, you will not be disappointed. You can see what it looks like here:

Mac Vegas Volt Lipstick
Vegas Volt.
This colour is a little more coral than it's appearing in the picture, it's a gorgeous combination of red and coral. Here I am wearing it.

Mac Lipstick Swatches
L-R  Impassioned, Pink Nouveau , Girl About Town, Show Orchid, Vegas Volt.

Do you love to rock a bold lip, Or are you strictly a nude lip girl?

XOXO Claire
