NOTD | OPI Gargantuan Green Grape

Mint green is definitely the colour of the season, it epitomizes Spring for me and is one of the shades I was most looking forward to rocking all winter, I couldn't wait for the birds to start chirping lol. Anywho one of the colours that was sitting patiently in my collection waiting for it's moment of glory, was the gorgeous Gargantuan Green Grape by OPI.

Here she is:

Unfortunately the pictures don't do this polish much justice, in real life its much more vibrant and is more of a lime green mint, if that makes sense. I always find greens and blues ridiculously hard to photograph, they never turn out the true colour, so if anyone has any tips please let me know, I would really appreciate it.

Back to the polish, it's a beautiful colour but there is a downside. I had to apply 5 coats, as it was so sheer. Luckily I had the time to sit and apply 5 coats, this time, but it's definitely not a polish if you're in a rush or if you like it to be opaque in 1 coat.

Let me know if you have this colour or if it's one you're interested in adding to your collection?

  1. I'm actually wearing this right now! I love it but the sheerness is annoying! I only had time for 2 coats and it definitely isn't as vibrant:(
