Product Review: Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Peach Mosaic

When I was in Sephora on holiday the first beauty counter I rushed to was Laura Mercier, I'm a huge fan of the brand and I especially love their silk cream foundation. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but one thing did catch my eye straight away...the Shimmer Bricks. I am a bit of a magpie and anything shimmery and sparkly always gets my attention, so I didn't stand a chance with this little beauty.

Ahh how gorgeous is this highlighter, it's like heaven in a pan. My heart actually started beating a little faster when I saw this baby. It works so well with my pale skintone but I think it would would work just as well on darker skintones too.

Here it is swatched:

How stunning, there are no words. You can see it featured in a recent face of the day here. The way this highlighter makes your skin look in the sunshine is amazing, you literally glow. You can swirl all the colours together to get the most gorgeous peach colour or you can wear them separately as a blush or eye-shadow. I think it's fastly becoming my favourite go-to highlighter, it is quite expensive at £31, but it's so luxurious, I think it's worth it. Plus because it's so pigmented you barely need to use any, it will definitely last a really long time.

You can get Laura Mercier products from SpaceNK in the uk and in Sephora in the usa.

What's your favourite highlighter and Laura Mercier product? I'm always looking to add to my collection

XOXO Claire

    1. It is quite pricey but I really think it's worth it. The first LM product I got was the very much raved about tinted moisturiser and it's amazing I definitely recommend it.

  3. Wow, this looks beautiful! Shame about the price though, I can't justify spending that much on make-up unless it was like... a miracle product that made me look perfect, ;)
