Beauty Edit: My Current Nighttime Skincare Routine 2012

I don't know about you girls but my skincare products are always all over the place, no matter how hard I try to keep them all nice, neat and tidy, they always end up everywhere. So I decided I had to take action, particularly in the case of my night-time skincare products. To save me time on a night, I thought it would make more sense to keep all my products together, enter my very cute shabby chic basket.

My Night-Time Skincare Routine
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
The contents of my basket (in no particular order)

Origins Drink Me Up Intensive Overnight Mask:
Ren Invisible Pores Detox Mask
Ren Samples + A Few Others
Bioderma (Review)
Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment
Cotton Pads
Kiehls Creme De Corps
Benefit Its Potent Eye Cream
Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil
Kiehls Facial Cream.

Now I just want to say I don't use all these products every night lol, most of the time I just pick and choose depending on how my skin's feeling and what it needs that night.

For example if my skin's feeling dry I like to use the origins overnight mask, if I'm having a breakout I tend to use the Ren Detox mask because it really helps dry the spots out and send them on their way lol.

I always use my Bioderma to remove my make up, it's a lifesaver. After I've removed my make up I spritz my face with my beloved Beauty Elixir and then apply either, my Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair or if my skin is a little on the dry side, my Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil.

Lastly I apply my favourite lip balm, which is from Fresh and then pop on a bit of body moisturiser. My favourites at the moment are the Kiehls Creme De Corps and The Body Shop Mango Body Butter (not pictured). They sink in so quickly it means I can pop it on in my bed lol, I know I'm pretty lazy.

As you can tell I definitely like to mix up my skincare routine and I don't tend to steer to one brand in particular. I do have lots of products on my wishlist but I really need to use up some of my old ones before shelling out for new products.

Do you keep your products in a basket of some sort? also let me know what products I should put at the top of my wishlist, what do you recommend?

XOXO Claire

  5. I'm in France and hunting around for Bioderma but it doesn't help when everything closes on a Sunday and between 12 and 3pm!

Anyway - I'm like you - I pick and choose a little. Never tried Beauty Elixir or the Sugar lip balm. I tend to use a light day moisturise - never really got into specific "night creams" but getting on a bit now so really should try some of your recs!
