Autumn/Winter Nail Polish Edit 2012

One of the best things in my opinion about a new season is of course new nail polish trends, and today I'm going to show you a few of my favourites.

Metallic / Duo-chrome:
Butter London Wallis
Essie Penny Talk /  OPI Raising Star / China Glaze Agro  / Butter London Wallis /  Butter London Knackered.

For the last few season it's all been about glitter, now don't get me wrong, glitter is still huge, but so are duo-chrome & metallic. They will definitely be giving the glitter trend some competition.

   Jewel Tones:
OPI Diva of Geneva
Barry M Vivid Purple /  OPI Ink /  OPI Diva of Geneva /  China Glaze Riveting /  China Glaze Electrify.

Lots of gorgeous jewel tones are also huge this season, they really add that depth and warmth that we will undoubtedly need for the oncoming cold season.

  Dirty Colours:
Essie Chinchilly
Barry M Grey /  Essie Case Study /  Essie Chinchilly /   Essie Power Clutch /  Essie Very Structured.

Dirty colours make a return this season to compliment the lovely crisp autumnal mornings, a stark contrast to the warm jewel tones I mentioned above. Barry M grey is a particular favourite of mine and one I would definitely recommend adding to your collection.

Oxblood:
OPI Lincoln Park At Midnight
Barry M Raspberry /  Essie Case Study /  OPI Vodka & Caviar /  OPI Just A Little Rosti At This /  OPI Lincoln Park At Midnight.

This colour is probably the "it"colour of the season, and one that I'm particularly obsessed with. One of these colours would definitely warm you up on a long dark night in.

If there is a particular colour you would like to see featured in a NOTD, feel free to let me know.

Those are just a few of my favourite colour trends that are hot right now, definitely let me know what colours you're loving this season and what polishes you're going to be rocking?

XOXO Claire
