NOTD | OPI Lincoln Park After Dark Nail Polish

It's officially autumn, so I'm cracking out the dark, warm polishes and I decided to start with a classic. It's probably one of OPI's most famous, if not the most recognized polish in their whole nail repertoire.

I'd actually forgotten how easy this colour is to apply, I normally have a few difficulties with dark colours, I'm not the neatest nail polish applier, if that's a word lol, but this one was fab. It was completely opaque in 2 coats, but I still decided to do 3, I have no idea why, your guess is as good as mine lol.

If you're not really into black polishes, this is the one for you, it has a slight dark red/purple undertone, so it doesn't look as harsh as a completely black nail polish. I think it makes it look a bit more feminine too as I always associate black polishes with goths and rocker boys.

I'll let you into a little secret, this polish is the first OPI polish I ever bought, so I think I can put full blame on this little monkey for my OPI addiction lol, this polish truly started my obsession. I know OPI polishes are quite expensive, especially as there are lots of other brands out there, that offer the same quality for considerably less money, but I just love everything about them. The unique quirky names, packaging and the amazing colour selection, I really can't fault them, I think that's the reason I keep coming back for more.

Let me know if you are a fan of this polish, and if you might be getting any polishes from this collection.

XOXO Claire
