September 2012 Beauty Favourites

So sorry I'm a bit late in posting this, I was in two minds whether to do one of these this month because I'm pretty much still loving everything from last month. Eventually though I did pull together a few items, so here they are.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
Sigma Precision Angled P84 Brush:
When I first got this brush I had no idea what it was used for and it sat in my cup for ages, but recently I'd heard it's good for highlighter, so I gave it a try. Well it's true, it definitely is perfect for cream highlighter, especially Illamasqua Lies. It picks up just enough product to highlight your cheekbones perfectly.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Oyster Glow:
This little baby had been my go-to inner-eye brighter ever since it came into my world, I love everything about it. It's creamy, really makes you look awake without looking to harsh and last a really long time on your waterline.

Primark Eyelash Curlers:
I bought these eyelash curlers ages ago and I tend to go though fazes of using then, they really do make a difference to how my lashes look with mascara. Now obviously these are Primark ones, so they only cost £1, but they work perfect well for me. I really don't think I could spend the £20 for the Shu Uemura ones, that's crazy talk. I'm sure they're lovely but I'm happy with my Primarni ones.

Essie Ridge Filler:
I bought this base coat about a month ago and even though it says it's for artificial nails, I really like what it does to my natural nails. It completely smooths out your nails, which is perfect for applying nail polish, especially dark polish. I really can't see any of the ridges through the colour, yay. Now I don't think this base will completely remove the ridges, it's more of a temporary measure, but I'm fine with that.

Urban Outfitters Twinkie Nail Polish:
This has definitely been the stand out polish for me this month, it's gorgeous, especially over black. It's such a lovely polish, though I will say the stars can be hard to get out, but when you do they stay on for days (obviously with a top coat).

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion 125ml Lotion:
My skin had been quite dry recently, I think it must be the change in seasons, as my skin is oily normally. This does the job, re-hydrating my skin without leaving it looking greasy. I guess you have to find the right balance, between dehydrated oily skin and greasy skin, this moisturiser is perfect.

That's all for this month, though judging by how I'm getting on so far, there might be quite a lot of products to mention next month.

Let me know what you've been loving this month, sorry this post is a bit late.

XOXO Claire

    1. They definitely work really well for me an dare so much cheaper, I've ordered from the Sigma website quite a few times and I've never had any problems, they've always arrived really quickly and I've never had to pay any customs either. I think you can get them from Love Makeup.co.uk as well, if you didn't want to buy them directly for the Sigma website.
