New Years Eve 2013 | Makeup, Hair, Outfit & Nails.

Happy New Year!
Wow, I can't believe January is here. I hope you all had a fabulous night last night and aren't struggling with too much of a hangover. I had a nice relaxing evening with close family friends. A bit of "Buble", yummy food and a few laughs are all I need to enjoy my night.

Here's what I wore for the occasion, hair, makeup and all.

 Fist I did my nails:
Butter London The Black Knight
OPI Nail Envy
Butter London The Black Knight (3 coats)
Seche Vite Topcoat

Loving this polish, though I would say it's more of a dark grey then black.
YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain in 110
Estee Lauder Double Wear Mixed With Benefit That Girl Brightening Primer
Benefit Erase Paste
Illamasqua Tremble
Illamasqua Gleam Highlighter

Urban Decay Sin Eyeshadow Primer
Stila In The Light Palette:
Kitten (all over the lid & inner corner)
Bliss (through the crease)
Gilded Gold (outer corner)
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil in Oyster Glow (waterline)
Loreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara
Make Up Forever Smokey Lash Mascara

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain in 110

This gloss stain literally lasted all night long, even through eating & drinking. It's amazing, plus everyone was admiring it. I think I might have to take a look at some other colours because I'm very impressed.

I decided to try something different with my hair:
New Years Eve | Makeup, Hair, Outfit & Nails.
I used my hair donut for the first time, not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think it looks pretty good, especially for a hair novice like myself. I normally just curl it and leave it down or I pop it in a ponytail. Who knows, now it's a new year I might try to sharpen up my below average hair skills lol.

Lastly my outfit:
New Years Eve | Makeup, Hair, Outfit & Nails.
Lace Shrug: Matalan
Top: Red Herring Debenhams
Sequin Skirt: Matalan
Tights: Primark

I know this outfit is a bit mismatched, bizarrely though I kind of like the mixture of textures. I got this peter pan top in the summer and hadn't worn it yet, so I thought why not. It's not that flattering on my chest but there's not really much I can do about that.

You wouldn't believe how difficult it was to get a semi decent picture that was actually in focus, I really need a tripod. I don't advise balancing your camera on your tv lol, let me know if you have any recommendations.

Also, I would love to know some kind of posts you would be interested in seeing this year, I'm always trying to improve and I would love to make my blog look and feel a bit more professional.

How did you spend your 2013 New Years Eve?

XOXO Claire
