NOTD | Pop Beauty Loud Lime Nail Polish

Lets get loud, it is time don't you think? I've been wallowing in dark colours for long enough, so lets crack open the brights. I decided to start with a brand I've not tried before, Pop Beauty, first impressions were good but.....well let me show you the colour first.

This colour is definitely not to everyone's taste (my mum for example hates it) but it is very spring appropriate. Unfortunately the application was a pain in the you-know-what. The first coat was unbelievably streaky, as was the second and the more I tried to even it out the worse it got. The third coat it looked somewhat better but I'm still not 100% happy with it. I also found the brush quite difficult to use, it's very thin, thinner than the Essie brushes and it just wouldn't glide over the nail, it kept snagging.

This is the first Pop Beauty nail polish I've tried and I'm sad to say I'm not impressed. I do have a few other colours from Pop as I got a set of three, so I guess only time will tell if this bottle was just a rubbish one or if the whole collection is the same formula.

Have you tired any Pop nail polishes? Are you a fan of bright, out there colours?
