Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat Review

I'm sure it's definitely no secret by now of my love for nail polish. I love the whole process of painting my nails, the preparation, choosing the perfect colour. I find it so therapeutic, I pop on some music, get comfy and go to town. Though I haven't always enjoyed the nail painting process. Back in the day I used to find it so tedious. I would spend 20 minuets making sure my nails were neat and tidy only for them to be smudged within minutes, sometimes seconds of finishing, and don't get me started on the dreaded bed-imprint!!

Thankfully about 4 years ago my aunt told me about this amazing nail polish top coat that would change my nail routine forever!

This tops coat is basically the Rolls Royce of topcoats, It's loved by both celebrities and beauty industry experts and I completely understand why. It makes my nails so unbelievably glossy, prolongs the life of your actual polish, reduces chipping and most importantly (for me at least) has completely changed polish drying time. My nails are touch dry in about 5 minutes, not hours, like before, which meas no more bed imprints, yay! I have no idea what it is about this top coat that makes it a miracle worker, but to me it's worth every penny.

This topcoat costs between £8-10 depending where you pick it up from, which may seem a lot but one bottle lasts me around 4 months. To me this is nothing for dry nails in super quick time. The only small negative I've come across is that it does tend to go gloopy quite quickly once you're about half way through the bottle.

Though I've found that a few drops of the Seche Restore (link) rectify that and you can continue to use it.

I 100% recommend this topcoat, especially if you always paint your nails 5 minutes before you're due out the door, like me, it really is a beauty lifesaver and should be a firm member of any nail polish addicts collection!

Have you tried Seche Vite before, what are your thoughts?

XOXO Claire

  10. I ADORE Seche Vite, it is the best top coat I have found however the ingredients are a little off putting so I am on the search for something just as good but without DBP in it!

    1. The ingredients are a tad worrying but I always open a window and I never bite my nail so it shouldn't be too much of a problem :)
