Product Review: Stila Convertible Colour in Gladiola

Up until recently I was never really a big blusher person, especially cream blushes. They never used to work with my skin, I always ended up looking greasy and the staying power was pretty poor.  But as we are finally coming into spring I thought it was about time I (tried) at least to embrace the gorgeously glowy cream blush trend.

I'd heard a lot of positive things about the Stila Convertible Colours, mainly that they had amazing staying power, which is exactly what I was looking for. I've been using it for the last few weeks and it really is amazing!

After pouring over pictures online I decided to order the shade Gladiola, which is a gorgeous coral colour. It tends to come across as a bright orange from all the swatches online, but it definitely doesn't translate to the skin, it's a lot more wearable.

In the above picture I just applied it lightly using my Real Techniques Stippling Brush, but it can definitely be layered up to be a more intense colour. I really recommend this cream blush/ brush combination, it picks up just the right amount of product and blends into the skin like a dream.

The best thing about this blush though is the staying power, it literally lasts all day, without any topping up. On Saturday I wore it to go holiday shopping, which meant lots of dressing rooms and hot shop lights, but it didn't move a muscle and was still perfect when I got home.

If you have oily/combination/normal skin and are looking for a cream blush, I definitely recommend trying one of these convertible colours.

In other news, I've just started using a new (for me haha) foundation that I've been absolutely loving, so I'm pretty sure it will be popping up somewhere soon.

Also, as I'm going on holiday on Saturday I will probably do some sort of post regarding what products I'm taking and whats in my hand luggage ect, let me know if that's something you would like to see.

XOXO Claire
