Nail Polish Dupes | Essie Fiji, China Glaze Pool Party, China Glaze Orange Knockout

If you've been reading my blog for a while you will know I have a whole series of posts called The Perfect Dupe. They seem to be pretty popular so I'm always on the look-out for new ones. It's been a while since I did my last a dupe post, but I think I may have hit the jackpot with 3 very popular nail polishes. Essie Fiji, China Glaze Pool Party, China Glaze Orange Knockout.

First up we have:
China Glaze Orange Knockout £7  Dupe: Sinful Colours Summer Peach.
I can only describe this colour in one word, Bright! It's definitely one of a kind, or so I thought. Sinful Colours have a nail polish in the exact same colour, and to be honest the formulation is actually better. I know, it pains me to say it but Summer Peach was opaque in 2 coats, while Orange Knockout took 3. If you are after a more budget friendly neon orange I definitely recommend this one.

China Glaze Pool Party £7  Dupe: Sinful Colours Pink £1.99.
These polishes are ridiculously similar, more so in real life than on the swatch reel. Nail polishes are a pain in the rear to photograph, arrggg. Anywho, everyone needs a hot pink in their collection don't they, and this one is perfect especially for £1.99, you could even buy two haha.

Essie Fiji £7-8 Dupe: Sinful Colours Easy Going.
Fiji is one of Essie's most controversial polishes it's 50/50, some people love it, some people hate it. Personally I'm still on the fence about this colour, the formula is not the best, but hold the phone I may have an alternative. Easy Going is a pretty close if not exact dupe for Fiji. In fact Easy Going was opaque in 2 coats where as Fiji took 3 plus it was still a little streaky. If you're after a lovely milky pink colour, but are a bit worried about Fiji's formula, Easy Going might just be for you.

I'm sure there are more potential nail polish dupes out there, I just need to find them haha, I'm on the case.

Have you found any amazing nail polish dupes? do share.

XOXO Claire

  2. Wow these are crazy close matches! I've never tried Sinful Colours but tempted to give 'em a go, for £1.99!

I personally LOVE Essie Fiji but mine went gloopy so quickly... Maybe I will replace it with the dupe!
