NOTD | OPI Cajun Shrimp Nail Polish

The majority of my nail polish choices lately have either been green or orange, I'm not really sure why, but they are definitely two of the colours I'm most drawn to. As for today's polish, it's not technically orange, but it's certainly not green.

It's been a while since I've used an OPI polish, boy I've missed their wide brushes. This particular colour is one of my favourites. It's a gorgeous bright red that's more orange based than a true red. It's the perfect holiday colour, I can imagine people wearing this baby while strolling down a beautiful white sandy beach. It really does pop and make a statement.

In fact as soon as I'd finished doing my own nails, my mum demanded I paint her nails too, as she loved the colour so much, now we match haha. I did 3 coats here, but you can definitely get away with 2.

When combined with a basecoat and topcoat OPI polishes can last up to 5 days on my nails, though by that time I'm always thinking about my next colour choice anyway.

OPI really do have a place in my heart for a reason, from the bottle to the formulation, I love everything about them. Especially lining them up in colour order. Does anyone else do that? no, just me then haha.

P.S I wonder how many times I've said definitely in this post, ahem.

XOXO Claire
