Today's post is a little different, I thought I would incorporate a few more lifestyle posts as my blogs seems to be very nail polish centered lately, not that I mind personally, but I know not everyone is as obsessed with the coloured stuff as me haha.
On Saturday night I went to opera in the park with my mum, her friend and one of my oldest friends Grace, who I'm sure I've mentioned before. It was held at Temple Newsam, which is such a beautiful location, if you're ever visiting Leeds I definitely recommend a visit. The event was hosted by Aled Jones and their were two acts, an operatic quartette called Amore and Classic Brit Award-nominee Laura Wright.
It was a lovely evening, even though we got a little wet towards the end. The singers were amazing, they gave use goosebumps.
Here are a few pictures from our evening.
Unfortunately the heavens opened in true British style, but that still didn't dampen our spirit, out came the umbrellas. The evening was topped off by a fantastic fireworks display.
Overall it was a really lovely evening, despite the weather and a few blisters. I'm not normally an opera fan but it was so nice to just sit and listen and take in the atmosphere.
Have you ever been to Opera In The Park?
