Beauty Products I've Used Up | Empty Products #4

My last empty products post was quite a while ago and I'm not going to lie a few of these things have been sat in the corner of my room just waiting. I'm so glad I can now finally throw them away, but first let me give you a little product rundown.

Products I've Used Up | Empty Products
This has been raved about by every blogger and her dog, I'm no different, if you fancy reading my review in full. It's the only thing I use to remove my makeup.
Repurchase: I've just bought L'Oreal version, so I'm interested in comparing them and seeing if I can save a few quid.
Bath & Body Works Paris Amour Shower Gel:
I bought this shower gel over a year ago in Florida and it's taken me ages to use up, purely because I didn't really like it. Don't get me wrong it smells amazing, but it just made my skin feel quite tacky and I don't think it cleaned my skin very well either.
Repurchase: No

V05 Hot Oil Moisture Soak Elixir:
I'd read quite a few reviews saying how amazing this hot oil treatment was, so I picked one up to give it a go. I remember the old version from back in the day, you had to warm it in the sink, what a palaver! Well this one is a bit easier to use, but I didn't notice that it did much to my hair, plus the scent was a bit overwhelming for me even though you do wash it out. I also had trouble getting the right amount out, it poured out everywhere.
Repurchase: No

I took this little mini on holiday with me and it lasted well over 2 weeks. I already have the 500ml bottle of this shower oil so at the moment I don't need to repurchase it, but when it's all gone, you can bet your bottom dollar another will be coming home with me. I might do a full review on this product actually, let me know if thats something you would like to see.
Repurchase: Absolutely

Again I don't think I need to say too much about this product, I have a review in full here, but I honestly think this is the first product I've bought multiples of at the same time. Addicted, who me? I'll let you decide that for yourself haha.
Repurchase: Yes

Pink Original Tangle Teezer:
As you can see by how grotty mine was, it was time to say goodbye. This little beauty was with me for over 2 years and made the process of brushing my hair, so much easier, before this brush it used to be something I would dread. If you have very knotty, troublesome hair I definitely recommend picking up one of these, they are so worth it.
Repurchase: Already have, but this time I got a black one.

Tresemme Platinum Strength 60 Second Treatment X2:
I've recently used up two of these 60 second conditioning treatments, and to be honest I'm still a bit on the fence about them. I can't really decide if I like them or not. What I will say though is that they are perfect for traveling, one little sachet lasts me two treatments. I bought four of these when they were on sale, so I might have a better opinion when they have been finished.
Repurchase: As of now, no, but that might change, who knows.

Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Serum Mini:
Yet another mini size that I've had in my collection for yonks. I'm sad to say I didn't see much difference with this serum, I do suffer with quite large pores so it really takes something for me to see results and this just didn't work for me, no matter how much I longed for it to. Love the packaging and the scent but that's about it.
Repurchase: No

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Mini:
This little man is also on my unsure list. I'm not really sure if it was combating my spots or multiplying them, I keep going back and forth. I tend to use it as a spot treatment, just putting it on the places that I need it as opposed to all over. My skin is definitely changing, I'm more dry in places then I was before.
Repurchase: I have but the jury's still out, if it was worth it.

Blistex Intensive Hydrating Lip Cream
This used to be my go-to lip balm before I discovered my beloved Nuxe Reve De Miel. Sorry Blistex my heart now belongs elsewhere.
Repurchase: No

Lush Mint Julip Lip Scrub
This is in this post because a while ago I actually noticed it was out of date, oops. Yep how gross, anyway, it was pretty dry and didn't really do much anymore so it was time for it to go. Thanks to my beloved lip balm I hardly have dry lips anymore, which is beyond amazing. I used to really suffer, especially at "that time of the month" now I can wear bright lipstick to my hearts content.
Repurchase: I have no need for one anymore, yay!!

I really hope I can continue using products up at this pace, I have way too many things, it's shameful.

What have you used up recently?

XOXO Claire

  1. Ooooh I really want to try bioderma and the effaclar duo, really looking forward to hearing your loreal and bioderma comparison! Beth Beth May Blogs

    1. Bioderma is amazing, but the L'Oreal one does give it a run for it's money :)

  2. I have Bioderma and I love it too! Elixor is next on my list!!

    1. I have literally repurchased them both so many times :-)

  3. Reminds me that I am going to be needing more Bioderma soon, love that stuff!!

  4. I LOVE bioderma!! but whats the difference between bioderma SENSIBIO and CREALINE? is there a difference?

    1. I think the Sensibio is for oily skin and the Crealine is for dry skin, but I have combination and the crealine works fabulously for me. It doesn't leave me oily or dry, it's amazing!! :)

  5. Loccitane Shower oil is the best product ever!
