Beauty Edit: What's In My Shower? 2013

As a result of my beauty product obsession my shower tends to have a revolving door of products. I thought I would give you a sneak peek at what's currently residing in my shower, at least this week haha.

Find out what's in my shower
A reveiw of the Lush Big Shampoo
In the order I use them:

Lush Big Shampoo:
I always wash my hair first and this is my shampoo of the moment. Big is definitely the most unique shampoo I've ever come across, but it's amazing. You would think that because it contains salt it would be quite drying on your hair, but it actually leaves it soft and voluminous.  It smells so fresh and clean, with a hit of vodka and lime, it's the perfect Monday morning pick me up.

Tigi Bed Head Moisture Maniac Conditioner:
This particular conditioner has been in my collection for way too long, so I've pulled it out purely to use it up. That being said it's actually a really lovely conditioner. As soon as you've applied it you can tell a difference, it leaves your hair so silky soft. I like to use a wide tooth comb to work the conditioner right through to the ends, I definitely recommend doing this if you have very knotty hair, it works a treat. I'd forgotten how much I love this product, plus it smells amazing, like pure pineapples.

Wide Tooth Comb:
Like I said earlier, I like to use a wide tooth comb after I've applied my conditioner, just to make sure it's distributed evenly and to make sure my hair is knot free. I also like to use it when I'm using a hair mask, it really makes a difference.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil:
This shower oil is my holy grail body product, I absolutely adore it. Never has a body oil/gel/wash left my skin so soft. If you suffer from dry skin, this is for you. You can definitely expect a review coming, though I think you can guess the outcome already haha.

Dr Jart+ Pore Refine Bubble Foam Cleanser:
This is one of the cleansers I've been using lately and it's very nice. I wouldn't say it's reduced my pore size, but overall it does the job without drying out my skin. I did think at one point it might be breaking me out, but that may have just been hormones, isn't being a women lovely.

Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It Scrub & Mask:
This is the newest addition to my shower routine. I like to apply a thin layer to my t-zone and wait a few minutes. I normally wash out my conditioner while this scrub/mask gets to work. It really works to de-clog your pores and give your skin a good degunking. It smells amazing too, very minty fresh and is so refreshing, particularly if you have a cold, it really opens up your sinuses. Scrub, mask and decongestant, what more could you want? haha.

Razor:
Pretty self-explanatory. Every girl needs one. Though if I had one wish it would be fuzz free legs for life!

I'm pretty happy with this selection of products, especially the shampoo and conditioner they seem to work really well together. I only have a few more uses out of the conditioner (sob). I may well be repurchasing it again in the future though.

Let me know what's residing in your shower, I'm always on the lookout for new products to try.

XOXO Claire

    1. The sea salt shampoo is fine as long as you use a good condition. I bought my shower oil from L'Occitane.com earlier this year, but you can also get it on Debenhams :)
