August 2013 Beauty Favourites

Is it really the end of August? Say it isn't so, goodbye summer, hello autumn. Luckily for me I have a week in Menorca to look forward to, I go tomorrow eek, so at least I can soak up that last bit of sun before the weather turns cooler. I best slap on a bit of St Tropez tonight so I don't scare people haha!

Anywho here are a few products that were firmly by my side this month.

Diorskin Nude BB Cream Product Review
Up until recently I was strictly an OPI Nail Envy girl, but since I ordered this topcoat I might be on the edge of being converted. This topcoat really lived up to it's name, my nail polish literally sticks to it. I've had my current colour  on for 9 days and I have hardly any tip wear and just one minuscule chip, that for me is amazing! I can definitely see this little baby becoming a staple.

This cream eyeshadow is one of the only eyeshadows I've been reaching for recently and it's pure magic. If you have oily eyelids like me, I suggest trying this line, not only is On & On Bronze a gorgeous colour but it doesn't budge, so much so that I can even wear it without a primer.

Diorskin Nude BB Cream
Even though the weather hasn't been that hot it's still been quite humid and muggy, so I kept my base light and this BB cream is perfect. It blends into the skin seamlessly and provides just enough coverage. My skin has been pretty good this month so I've been able to just manage with this and a bit of under eye concealer, quick, easy and done in a flash.

Bumble & Bumble Tonic Lotion
This product has been in my collection for quite some time and I can't believe it's taken until this month for me to start using it. It's basically a tonic that you apply on damp hair and it helps de-tangle and prep the hair ready for other hair products. I also has tea tree in it so is good for the scalp.

Eve Snow Opium Nail Polish*
This nail polish really impressed me this month, it's normally really difficult to find a white polish that's opaque in a few coats, this one does the job perfectly, you can see it on in one of my notd's here.

Mario Badescu Sliver Powder
Large pores have always been a problem for me, especially on my nose and chin and this product really does help reduce them, it really gives your pores a good clean out

Let me know what your top products have been this month and what I should add to my list, are any of you jetting off for some late summer sun?

XOXO Claire
