NOTD | Orly FX Pink Pixel Nail Polish

I was recently asked if I wanted to try a few nail polishes from Beauty Expert and you know me, I couldn't say no. I love nothing more than sitting down at my dressing table and playing around with colours, you never know when inspiration will hit you.

The first colour I decided to try is from the brand Orly, which I have tried a few times before. The polish in question is from their Mega Pixel FX Spring 2013 Collection and in my opinion if Elle Woods were to have a nail polish, this bad boy would be it!

This nail polish is the ultimate girly-girls polish, a gorgeous fuchsia base that's packed with 3d glitter. It's not normally a colour I would choose for myself but I'm absolutely in love with it. It was opaque in one coat (though I did two) and the wide brush made it so easy to apply. It's a texture nail polish, so to get the full effect you're supposed to forgo a topcoat, but I actually did apply one and you can still feel the rough texture through it.

I'm so impressed with this polish, it's perfect for a special occasion, or for the Elle Woods wannabe, everyday wear. It was also extremely easy to remove, which I was quite surprised about, normally glitter polishes take ages but this one just came right off. Good job Orly!

Have you tried any of the Orly FX Polishes?
