The Skincare Tag

Over the last few years my skincare obsession has definitely made it's self known, I have a whole shelf overflowing with lotions and potions, so when I saw this tag doing the rounds I knew I had to take part.

Aesop Parsley Seed Mask Product Review
Aesop Parsley Seed Mask Product Review
Describe your skincare routine in 5 words?
Miss-matched, hydrating, simple, easy, fresh.

What's your skin type?
Combination, I have a few dry spots, especially around my eyebrow's and nose, though my t-zone can get a little oily. I normally get a few spots around "that" time of the month mainly on my chin.

What are your favourite skincare products?
Either a good detoxing mask, like the Aesop Parsley Seed Mask or my Bioderma, shock horror, no surprises there.

Top blemish zapper?
I'm normally pretty lucky in the zit department but when I do feel one brewing I like to just use a nice detoxing mask or I pop on a bit of Origins Spot Remover.

Face wipes, yay or nay?
Absolutely not, my face wipe days are long gone! I find them drying, scratchy and they just move make up around your face rather than actually removing it, not good, boycott the face wipes, let's make a movement!

Toner, yay or nay?
Definitely, I adore my Caudalie Beauty Elixir and always make sure to pop a few spritzes on a cotton pad after I've cleansed. I also really liking the Origins United State Balancing Tonic.

Highend skincare or highend make up?
This is a real hard one, but I would have to say highend skincare. The drugstore does amazing makeup but I couldn't live without my highend skincare, especially my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair & Nuxe Lip Balm

What's the most unusual skincare product you've tried?
I'm honestly not that adventurous, I tend to stay pretty safe. Though I did used to put toothpaste on my spots when I was younger?? That's pretty...odd!

You're in a French pharmacy and can only pick one item - what is it?
Easy, A double pack of Bioderma!

Tell us your top skincare tip?
Pretty standard and boring, but drink lots of water. I can really tell the difference, when I haven't, my skin looks a lot more sallow and doesn't feel as supple. I also find spritzing my toner onto a cotton pad a lot more effective then just spraying my skin, it's more concentrated.

There we have it, hopefully you've all learned a bit more about my skincare preferences, I tag everyone reading this. Let me know what your favorite skincare products are? I'm always looking to add to my ever expanding list.

XOXO Claire

    1. Aww thank you, I've used it a few times, I think people with dry skin will probably see quicker results, but I'm definitely going to keep going with it :)
