September 2013 Beauty Favourites

Happy autumn, I can't believe how quickly the temperature has dropped, my hands are like ice writing this. Anywho there were quite a few stand out products for me this month, but I didn't want to bore you all so I just picked a few to show you.

Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua Foundation
Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua Foundation
Soap & Glory Heel Genius.
Feet are kind of gross to talk about, lets face it, but my mum started nattering at me about taking better care of my tootsies, so I turned to this. It's fabulous, I noticed a difference after the first time I used it. I just buffed my feet with a foot file (eww) coated my feet with this cream, popped on some cozy socks and went to bed. The next morning my feet were as soft a baby's bottom, or there abouts.

Alpha H Balancing Cleanser.
This has been my cleanser of choice over the last month and even though I'm not that gone on the Liquid Gold, see this post to know my thoughts, I'm really liking this cleanser. It's really creamy so it doesn't dry out your skin or leave it feeling tight. It's lovely and light, perfect for my combination skin, especially as we're moving into autumn.

Living Proof Prime Style Extender.
Primer for your hair, really? We're definitely moving into new territory, but this product actually works. You pop it onto damp hair and then carry on with your regular hair routine. This primer lets me get an extra day of wear out of my hair, I don't know how it does it but it's amazing! Definitely one to think about if you're as lazy as I am about hair washing.

Monthly Favourites 2013
Mac Rubenesque Paint Pot
Origins United State Balancing Tonic.
My skin has been breaking out a little lately and this tonic has definitely helped the situation. It helps by unclogging pores and getting rid of all the yukyness, I know pretty good description right? But it makes your skin feel so clean without leaving it dry or tight. Definitely my toner of choice when my skins feeling congested.

Mac Morange Lipstick.
This little beauty definitely deserves a mention this month, it's such a statement colour, maybe not for everyone but I absolutely love it. I wore it on holiday in the evening and it stayed put, even through eating and drinking. Mac lipsticks are amazing quality and 100% worth the price in my opinion, once you go Mac you don't go back!

Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua Foundation.
This foundation has been in my collection for a while but I pulled it out again to take on holiday and I used it everyday while I was there. It was the perfect light weight foundation, that blended in like a dream. I even used my fingers the majority of the time (which is unheard of for me) purely because my mum hogged my beloved buffing brush haha, monkey.

Mac Rubenesque Paint Pot.
This baby was brought out of hibernation for my holiday and despite me saying I wasn't a fan of paint pots, this one may have me eating my words. The colour is beautiful and over the top of a good primer (ahem Nars Smudge Proof) it lasts pretty well. I've yet to give it a full day test drive, but for nighttime it's lovely, the perfect autumn colour.

  1. Loving your favourites! Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is the most amazing foundation ever. And once you go MAC you never go back is so true haha. I've got a Paint Pot in Soft Ochre and it doesn't need a primer, stays put until I take it off! x
