His & Her Fragrance Christmas Gift Ideas

I think it's finally acceptable to utter the "C" word, lets face it it is nearly December! I don't know about you but buying presents is definitely more of a challenge, so much to choose from. One thing that is always a hit, especially in my family, is fragrance gift sets. They're personal, come in adorable boxes and have a whole host of different price ranges, to suit all budgets.

I was recently sent a selection of Fragrance Gift Sets from Fragrance Direct to maybe give you a few ideas for the lovely ladies and gents in your life.

Lets start with the ladies:

Chloe Signature Gift Set 50ml* £48.95
The first thing that comes to mind when I look at this fragrance is "holy moly what a gorgeous bottle" Just the intricate detail alone makes me want to put it on my dressing table. Turning attention to the scent, it's very sophisticated and as you can see from the notes below, floral based. This particular scent is perfect for someone a little older who prefers a light, fresh fragrance.
Notes | Peony, Freesia, Rose, Lily Of The Vally.

Escada Especially Gift Set 30ml* £26.95
If floral scents aren't necessarily your thing or you're looking for something a little sweeter, though still in the fresh scent family, this gorgeous fragrance might be just the one for you. Beautifully feminine, but still sophisticated and a little fruity, this scent would be prefect for girly girls. The bottle again is stunning, it reminds me of Michel Kors Hollywood.
Notes | Pear, Ambrette, Rose, Ylang-Ylang, Musk.

Not forgetting the men:
Paco Rabanne 1 Million Gift Set 50ml* £32.99
Describing men's fragrances is so difficult, but I'll give it a go. This one in particular is quite spicy and woodsy but still light and fresh. Honestly, it just smells like a sexy man and who doesn't want a man to smell like that! I would say it's aimed more at the younger guy just because of the packaging, so it would make a great gift for boyfriends/husbands. My brother loves this scent, so there may be one sitting under the tree for him come Christmas morning haha.
Notes | Grapefruit, Mint, Mandarin, Cinnamon, Rose, Amber, Leather, Patchouli, Wood.

I definitely recommend Fragrance Direct, not only do they sell perfumes (way cheaper than other retailers) they also sell nail polish (hello discounted Essie & OPI).

What fragrance is on your Christmas list this year?
