Don't get me wrong I love Autumn/Winter, especially the build up to Christmas but as soon as it's over I just start dreaming of Spring. There's only so many times you can stare out of the window at brown trees! I'm dreaming of Spring, luckily I can already tell Spring is on it's way, there are a few flowers starting to bloom and the evenings are certainly getting lighter. So in honor of that, I thought I would show you a few of my favourite beauty bits that to me epitomize "Spring"!
L-R | Ciate Sugar Plum, Ciate Pepperminty, Ciate Ferris Wheel.
Every year when spring comes around, so do the pastels! It's so nice to see lots of pretty colours again after months of black. These mini bottles have been sat at the side of my dressing table waiting, just waiting for a hint of spring. Now it's time to whip them out and I'm so excited! Look out for nail polish coming your way soon.
Onto Lip products, there's only one shade that comes to mind for me when I think of "Spring" and that's coral.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 1
Mac Costa Chic
Mac Ever Hip
Mac Vegas Volt
Mac Lady Danger
It's sadly time to put always all the gorgeous dark, vampy lippies because Spring is all about looking fresh faced. Coral lips are a huge trend this season and any of the above shades, fit perfectly.
I personally think red lips work any time of the year, though I tend to sway more towards orange toned reds, like Mac Lady Danger.
If coral lips aren't really your "thang" the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in number 1 might just be for you, it's a lovely non sticky gloss that adds just a hint of peachy pink colour. It's a must if you find lipsticks too high maintenance.
Now you've got the prefect pout, you need to add a bit colour to your cheeks, coral of course!

Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Lush Nectarine
Mac Flatter Me Pearlmatte Face Powder (from the Archie's Girl Collection)
Gorgeous peachy coral cheeks really give the skin such a lovely flush, like you've just been walking out in the countryside soaking up that fresh air. This Laura Mercier beauty in Lush Nectarine is the newest addition to my blush draw and just look at that pigmentation, one word - stunning! Unfortunately my other offering is from last years Mac Archie's Girl Collection, so I don't know if you can get your mitts on it anymore, but if you can, do it! It's not as pigmented as the LM one, but I actually like that, it makes it a little softer, perfect for daytime wear.
What are your beauty essentials for this Spring? Do you have any favourite coral products in your Spring beauty wardrobe?
XOXO Claire
