Makeup Edit: Bourjois Brand Overveiw

"Bonjour Bourjois"
Ok I'm going to be honest, Bourjois were never really a brand that I was a big fan of.. up until last summer. Last year they really upped their game and brought out a whole host of new products. For me it started with their Magic Nail Polish Remover, since then I've added a few more things to my collection and I'm in love!

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream Product Review

Bourjois Paris 1 Seconde Nail Polish in Blue No Blues £5.99
Nail polish was definitely the place for me to start and not only do they have gorgeous shades the formula is amazing, so opaque it could rival high end brands. Complete with wide brushes and unique packaging they definitely get the thumbs up from me. I will certainly be picking up some more shades, leave suggestions below.

Lip Products:
Bourjois Paris Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Peach On The Beach £7.99
Bourjois Paris Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Red Sunrise £7.99
I'm a huge lip crayon/chubby stick fan and as soon as I saw this peach shade I knew I had to have it. It's so glossy and moisturising with a lovely colour payoff. I loved it so much I had to add another shade to my collection, this one is a pretty juicy red, I actually have a post showing me wearing it here.

Face Products:
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream £9.99
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Eye Concealer £7.99
If you're a long time reader of this little blog you may remember that I had a not so great experience with their Healthy Mix foundation, so I was a bit apprehensive to try some of their face products, but this CC range has totally blown me away! The CC Cream gives your skin a gorgeous, light luminous glow, which makes you look so awake and healthy, it's perfect for the warmer months. It doesn't offer too much coverage, so it's definitely one for good skin days, I absolutely love it.

The CC Eye Cream is great too, it may not have as much staying power as some of my other under eye concealers due to my watery eyes, but it really brightens up those dreaded eye bags.

Well done Bourjois, you have completely changed my opinion, now I can't wait to try more products!

What products from Bourjois do you recommend I add to my collection?

XOXO Claire

  1. I never used to use Bourjois much either, but the Healthy Mix foundation definitely started off my love for them. I'm obsessed with their new velvet lipsticks, and I need to get my hands on the CC cream too!

  3. I'm really curious about trying Bourjois products, specially the Healthy Mix foundation, but they don't sell any of these where I live and I'm kind of afraid to shop online for foundations :( Maybe someday haha
