Product Review: Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Oyster Glow

Hyper Pigmentation and dark circles are unfortunately hereditary in my family, so I always have to spend a bit of extra time in my make up routine trying to make my under eyes look more bright eyed and bushy tailed... rather than like a blood sucking vampire. I'm not going to lie it's quite a challenge, especially as I have eye's that constantly water (thanks mum). Recently though I think I've found a solution that definitely gives me that " Oh I just had 12 hours of sleep and woke up like this" "Bright Eyes" look and it's all down to one pencil.

Meet my weapon for wide awake eyes! I've had this pencil in my collection for a while but I haven't used it for a long time because it needed sharpening and well, I was just plain lazy haha. So the other day I whipped out my pencil sharpener and restored the pointy tip ready to be put to work.

I like to pop this gorgeous champagne colour in my inner corners, waterline and under my lashline. One thing I love most about this pencil is it's super creamy, so you don't need to pull the skin, it just glides along your lashline. It's also really long lasting. As long as you let it set it will last hours, which I'm really amazed by, as my lower lashline normally always rejects any kind of product, leaving behind a gross smudgy mess, but this pencil wears really well.

I would say this pencil really is comparable to the Urban Decay 24-7 Glide On Pencils, they are such high quality and cost a a little less from £9-£11 depending on where you get them from. I definitely recommend them, I actually have the black shade which I will be trying out to see how it stands up against UD's Zero. So stay tuned.

What are your go-to products to help achieve a wide awake look? Have you tried any of the Pixi Silky Eye Pen's?

XOXO Claire

  3. Such a pretty shade! I've been wanting to order a few of those bad boys, the black and the black blue shade in particular, I've heard plenty about how long wearing these are and I need that!

  4. So pretty! I've not tried anything by Pixi before (it's a tad tricky to get hold of) but I've always been intrigued by the liquid liner and now this pencil. Really does brighten your eyes :)
