Product Review: HD Brows Eye & Brow Palette in Foxy

I've always had brow issues, ever since I can remember. They grow like weeds and are very unruly, it's like I have the "Cousin It" of eyebrows. Despite my dodgy brows I've always been too much of a scardy cat to get them professionally done. Luckily for me one of my best friends is a qualified beautician, so I bit the bullet and asked her to sort out my messy brows. I have to say she did a fab job, she gave them a trim, shaped them and waxed my away monobrow.

Now that Grace had done the hard part getting them in the right shape, I could finally add in a brow step to my make up routine.

Tadah, they aren't full on in your face but I think they look so much nicer just softly defined. I'm not really one for a Scouse brow!

Here are the Products I used:
HD Brows Eye & Brow Palette in Foxy
First I like to comb them through with my Real Techniques Lash & Brow Groomer (definitely recommend one of these, it's fab) to get my brows in the right shape. Next on a Real Techniques Brow Brush I mix together the two bottom brown shades from the HD Brows Eye & Brow Palette in Foxy, dab off the excess on my hand and gently fill in any gaps using little strokes. I also like to shape the inner part, this is the part that for me makes the difference. Lastly to make sure those suckers stay put I pop through a bit of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, which I have to say is amazing! I currently have the mini size, but I will certainly be re-purchasing a full sized tube, if you have stray brow issues, definitely think about investing in this stuff!

I can't believe the difference just a little bit of powder can make, it really makes you look more polished. From now on I will be making sure I take good care of my brows, what's the point of spending ages applying different eyeshadow's if your brows are flying all over the place.

Just remember your brows are meant to be sisters not twins, it doesn't matter if they aren't completely symmetrical.

What are your top products in your brow routine?

XOXO Claire

  1. I really need to pick up a brow brush for my brows as I always end up putting too much powder through them and having to use a cotton bud to remove some of it!

  2. I totally agree, powder through the brows makes such a massive difference doesn't it?! I really want to try the ABH Dipbrow Pomade as I've read so many people rave about it xx
