Nars Makeup Edit: #1

Rarely do I use a whole brands range of products, I love being able to mix and match, highend and drugstore. For example I love Mac eyeshadows, but I don't like their foundations and I love Revlon's lip products, but don't really care for their eyeshadows. Though lately there has been a brand that's been impressing me on every platform, Nars. So much so, I've done my whole face just using Nars products.

The tinted moisturiser is a lovely base, it offers light to medium coverage, feels so light on the skin and gives your skin a beautiful glow. If you're looking for the perfect base for the warmer weather I definitely recommend this one, plus it contains SPF which is fab.

The Radiance Creamy concealer has been a favourite of mine for months and it's completely worth the high price tag, it's light enough to put under your eyes without looking cakey, but still covers blemishes.

As my face is on the round side I find a bit of contouring to be a huge help in slightly slimming down my face, the Laguna bronzer does the job really well.

For eyes I never stray from my Smudge Proof Primer, it hasn't let me down yet. For eyeshadow one of my favourite Nars duos is "Alhambra", it's two gorgeous golden champagne shades that work alone or combined with other colours to create a beautiful effortlessly simple eye, which I needed as I was wearing quite a bright lip.

This bright red lip pencil is the newest Nars addition to my collection and I completely blame Suzie for that one. It's a stunning orange based red that really pops, it's matte but is really comfortable on the lips, not at all drying. It does have pretty good staying power, just try not to eat a roast dinner, it's not pretty haha.

What are some of your favourite Nars products?

XOXO Claire

  1. I love red square! It's my current fav for a bold lip. I love the idea of using a bronzer in the crease too :)

  7. Definitely agreed! NARS is just a general great all-around brand! I got a sample of the tinted moisturizer recently, and though I adore it, it's...kinda orange on me LOL ;-; (I think I better go back and look at possible lighter shades!)
I've got both of NARS' concealers, and several of their blushes. Final Cut and Deep Throat are my favourites!
