Product Review: Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

Ok, so I owe a particular beauty product an apology, a few years ago, (wow can't believe it's that long ago). I wrote a not so nice review about the Nars Sheer Glow, thankfully that review isn't still up, but now after some reflection I thought I would do a revised review seeing as my opinion has dramatically changed.

I have no idea why I hated this foundation so much because after revisiting it a few weeks ago I'm now a Sheer Glow convert. If you've looking for a foundation that gives medium coverage with a satin like feel, but leaves a dewy finish this one might be for you.

I have combination skin but I don't find that I get too oily or that it clings to my dry patches. The wear time is pretty good, it doesn't go patchy or do what it used to do before, which was oxidize on my skin. I have no idea the sudden turnaround but I'm very happy, I don't have to worry about looking orange a few hours after application.

Nars have a great shade range which if you're fair like me is a godsend, I have the shade Mont Blanc which was the lightest shade when I bought mine, but I believe there may be an even lighter shade available now, so there should be one to suit everybody.

It's no the cheapest foundation around coming in at £32 for 30ml and because there isn't a pump you can waste a little product, but I find if you pop your finger over the opening, then dab the product on the four main sections of your face and blend with a brush, it helps minimize the amount of product you use.

Have you ever changed your opinions on a product? What do you think of Nars Sheer Glow?

XOXO Claire

    1. Ooh that's good to know, maybe it's like marmite, though I don't think my view will change on that haha :)

  5. I have Nars Sheer Glow in Siberia and I have a love/hate relationship with it. I have quite dry skin and I find it can exacerbate those dryer areas on my face and it doesn't give me any "glow". I apply it with a damp beauty blender and I find it helps sheer out the foundation and it applies nicer that way.

  6. This foundation is A DREAM! I have the shade Gobi, which I believe is as light as Mont Blanc but only with a yellow undertone instead of a pink one. It's a bit too dark for my face but it matches my neck and the rest of my body so I guess it's all good x
