How To: "Multi-Masking?"

Hands up who loves a good face mask? I thought so, to me they are my favourite part of my whole skincare routine. Pop on a detoxing mask, lie back and relax with a glossy or good book and 20 minutes later you have refreshed skin.

Up until a month ago I had never heard of multi masking, it never uncured to me to use different types of masks to target specific problem areas. Thanks to this little kit from Boscia it's totally clued me up, so let me fill you in.

Skincare is so personal, so it makes sense to tailor your routine to your skin's requirements. For example I have combination skin, I tend to get a little oily in my t-zone and chin, but I also have a few dry patches on my cheeks and around my nose. Plus don't get me started on the pigmentation marks left behind from some spots, damn hormones!

So, to draw out impurities and help blitz the zits on my chin, forehead and nose I use the Luminizing Mask. It's thick and oh my is it satisfying when after 20-30 minutes you get to peel it off. Your skin feels so clean it really gets down into your pores. On my cheeks I like to use the Bright White Mask, to help reduce some of the pigmentation marks. It's a bit early yet to say if I notice some significant improvements, but my skin does look brighter.

Along with the black and white masks you also get a Green Tea Mask for oil control and a Cool Blue Mask for calming, I haven't used either of these yet but I'm excited to crack them open and give them a try.

Obviously you don't need to pick up this kit, you can use whatever masks you already have, get creative. The skincare world is your oyster!

Have you ever tried Multi Masking? What are your favourite mask combinations?

XOXO Claire

  6. This kit looks so cool! I normally use the Origins clear improvement mask and use it just on my chin and nose and then use a moisturising one everywhere else :)
