Summer Beauty Edit: Wet Hair & Glossy Lips

It's been a while since my made up face has appeared on this blog, honestly over the last few month my skin has had a few issues, those of the pimple variety. I think it was the combination of hormones and the weather, luckily I've come out the other side and my skin is now back on track. I thought now would be the perfect opportunity to try out a few of my American beauty buys. I must warn you though, I may have a full face of make up but my hair is looking a little, eh.. lets just say I was too lazy to dry it, story of my life haha.

Today was a good skin day, so I just used a bit of my favourite Nars concealer and set it with my new Tarte Powder Foundation. For blush and bronzer I decided to whip out my Bare Minerals minis, love this cheek combo, in the pan I thought the bronzer may be a bit too warm toned, but it worked perfectly and the blush in Natural High is a dead ringer for Nars Orgasm.

For eyeshadow I used my Space NK sale bargain, Laura Mercier Earth Glow. You can't really see it, damn hooded eyelids, but it's lovely, perfect for a daytime smokey eye. A few coats of quite possibly the smallest mini mascara I've ever seen and lastly a (shock horror) slick of lip gloss.. I know times a changing and this one is so pretty!

I must say, I've never tried anything from Bare Minerals before, I always thought they were aimed at more mature ladies but I'm so impressed. The pigmentation is amazing! Have you tried anything from Bare Minerals?

How many of you are in the lazy, wet hair club?

XOXO Claire
