October 2014 Beauty Favourites

October was all about the make up for me, I really dug deep in my stash and found a few hidden seasonal gems. So lets not waste any time and get straight to business!

Laura Mercier The Artist Palette
Mac Amber Lights Eyeshadow
Big Sexy Hair Extra Big Volume Shampoo & Conditioner
This shampoo duo does gives a good amount of volume but boy does it make my hair shiny. I can see my reflection in it haha and who doesn't want shiny, bouncy hair?

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
If there was one mascara I choose over all my others this month it was this gem from Tarte, I know I've mentioned it many times before but it's just that good and this little sample is still going strong. You can apply one coat for gentle everyday lashes or really build it up for "bam, look at me" lashes.

NYX Mauve Blush
As it's the season for dark lips I needed a blush that would be understated but that would still go with everything and this blush does it all. As with all NYX products it's inexpensive but the pigmentation really packs a punch!

Mac Amber Lights Eyeshadow
If you're looking for a pretty, warm toned golden, shimmery brown this is your girl. Packed all over the lid, it's magic and if you have blue eyes oh baby, will they sparkle.

Laura Mercier The Artist Palette
Sorry to tease you with this palette, it's no longer available but I can't stop using it. The shades are all so wearable it's been fighting my Lorac Pro Palette for my attention. The shade Vanilla Nuts (hehe, so mature) is a gorgeous highlight colour.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Nude
As I've been loving warm toned shadows I needed something to brighten my eyes to reduce the pink eye effect. Boy is this eyeliner waterproof, it stays in my waterline like no other. This formula is genius and cheap as chips!
If you're after a Kylie Jenner esk pout you might want to invest in this lip liner. It makes your lips look so full and juicy, plus because it's such a natural shade you can use it underneath any lip colour.

American Horror Story
Ok what did I do with my time before Netflix? I have been glued to my new smart TV (which is another favourite) catching up with three season of American Horror Story. Seriously love this show, I wasn't sure at first but it's really grown on me. I particularly loved Asylum and I can't wait to start Freakshow! Jessica Lange is such a badass, I refuse to believe she is in her 60s.

What have been a few of your favourite products this month? Are you a AHS fan?

XOXO Claire
