Lifestyle: What I've Been Binge Watching On Netflix #1

The colder months always mean one thing to me, getting my TV on! Snuggling in bed and being surgically attached to Netflix becomes the norm, it's almost expected. I've discovered so many amazing shows thanks to that genius library in the sky and the best thing about it is they keep on coming!

Lifestyle: What I've Been Binge Watching On Netflix #1
I thought I would give you a little rundown of a few of my favourite shows that I've been glued to over the last three months, maybe you can pop them on your to watch list for 2015.
What the heck, why didn't I discover this series sooner it's amazing! Each season, there are currently four, revolves around different characters, but the same actors, so you don't necessarily need to start at the beginning if you don't want to. My favourite is Asylum, but I love them all! Please don't let the "Horror" aspect put you off it's not that scary it's more suspenseful, just give it a go. Both Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lang are fantastic.

// The Fall //
This series is quite easy to whiz though as it only has five episodes, but they are five excellent episodes! This series is set in Belfast and centres around a woman detective investigating a series of murders. Jamie Dornan who I'd never heard of (no I haven't read 50 shades) plays a really interesting character, a husband/murderer who's very creepy but also very easy on the eyes, yum!

// Homeland //
Another stunning series that had me hooked from the very first episode. Basically the premise is a little complicated, a marine returns home after being held captive in Iraq, but a CIA member thinks hes been turned, everything kicks off. It's full of suspense, if you're a fan of 24 you will love this. Claire Danes kills it, and I'm not just saying that because we have the same name haha.

// Nashville //
If all of the above are a little too hard core for you, you might like this musical drama. Who knew Claire the unbreakable cheerleader from Heroes could sing. It's light hearted, about a has-been country singer who has to compete against the new girl on the musical block. It has catchy songs, Boys & Buses is my favourite and will give you a lot of hair envy.

// Pretty Little Liars //
Prepare to delve into a world that's dominated by a mysterious character named A. If you love The Vampire Diaries & Gossip Girl you will adore this programme. It's billed as a teen show but it's so much more than that, a group of friends are mystified when one friend goes missing, then a body is found. What happened to Allison? Believe me you will become addicted!

What's currently on my 2015 watch list?
The 100
Once Upon A Time
Scandal
The Killing
Suits
White Collar

I've always loved TV, even after primary school I would race home so I didn't miss Bernard's Watch and The Queens Nose (remember those?) My grandparents would always say if I sat any closer to the TV I would get square eyes (hence the title of this post) haha.

Let me know what you've been loving TV wise, is there anything you think I must add to my watch list?

XOXO Claire

  1. Started but couldn't finish the Fall...because not going to lie, was too afraid to continue watching! White Collar is underrated, but Matt Bomer's face should be the reason why everyone needs to give the show a try.

  2. I don't have anything in particular that I watch but I love to get cosy in my duvet and putting on something to watch especially now that it gets dark and wet outside lol.

  5. I LOVE American Horror Story! I think Murder House was my favourite but I still haven't seen Freak Show yet so that might change! I've moved onto Dexter now and I'm already on Season 4!
