Beauty Edit: Shopping My Stash #3 | Spring Edition

A new season means it's time to switch things up a bit in the beauty department, dust off a few of the old "Spring" favourites, make some rediscoveries and maybe find some new loves.

Shopping My Stash For Spring
Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks

During the winter I tend to prefer a more heavy duty base but as the sun begins to (slowly) reappear I like to switch out my full coverage foundations for something a little more sheer. Though if my skin is going through a particularly rough patch (like now arrrgg!) I do a bit of mixing to achieve my desired look. The Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream makes a gorgeously dewy, fresh looking base.

Cleansing oils are definitely the way to go for completely removing every inch of warpaint, I bought the Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil ages ago and haven't really given it a fair trial, so thanks to shopping my stash it's been brought back to my attention.

Coral lip products are a given in spring, I also tend to gravitate towards more of a gloss. The Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Rieuse is a lipstick and gloss hybrid, with the pigmentation of a lipstick and texture of a creamy gloss/balm. This is another product that really hasn't been given enough love, just look at that packaging. Bad Claire!

Tints are always fun in the warmer months, cream on cream definitely gives a flush, natural finish. This Becca Beach Tint in Grapefruit is sheer but great for low-key no makeup, makeup days.

I've been surgically attached to my cream eyeshadow sticks recently and I thankfully just rediscovered these Mini Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks. I do have to use a primer beforehand, but they give a lovely wash of colour and lets face it anything in miniature is an added bonus! Am I right?

What products have you rediscovered, just in time for spring?

XOXO Claire
