June 2015 Beauty Favourites

St Tropez 1 Hour Tan Review
It's be a while since a favourites post popped up around these here parts, so I thought I owed you one. By the looks of my product selection this month, I'm all set for summer, it's a shame the weather hasn't received the memo - but I have my fingers crossed for July, come on Mr Sunshine!

Right, lets jump in:

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I recently cut and coloured my hair, while I love the cut - the colour wasn't so successful. I asked for sunkissed balayage but ended up with half and half with a big line going around my head, trust me it looked terrible. Luckily this little bottle of magic came to my aid like a ship in the night. I plan on doing a full review soon so look out for that! (ooh what a tease).

// St Tropez 1 Hour Self Tan Express //
As tanning goes I'm not exactly experienced, but who doesn't love a golden glow. Thanks to this new addition to the St Tropez range you can achieve a lovely dose of colour in one hour, yep 60 minutes - no more sitting around stinking of biscuits or sleeping in stained sheets, can I get an amen! It lasts around 5-6 days on me and if you moisturise everyday it reduces the risk of it going patchy.

// Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturiser //
This base has been my go-to base for the last 3 months, it combines both coverage and high SPF with a gorgeous light finish, that has pretty good staying power on my combination skin. I definitely recommend popping to a Nars counter and asking for a sample, it's the perfect summer holiday base.

// The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter //
To make sure my newly applied tan hung around as long as possible, I counted on this gorgeous body butter to keep my limbs soft and hydrated. When you hear the word butter you ultimately think of something thick and sticky, but this moisturiser is neither of those things. Not only does it smell amazing, it sinks into the skin really quickly too.

// The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil//
This little oil is fantastic at drying out spots and sending them on their way. It doesn't dry out the skin and because of it's antibacterial properties it helps to reduce redness and sooth the skin. I just squeeze a few drops onto a cotton bud and apply to Mount Vesuvius (feels like that sometimes) and by morning it's been greatly reduced, if not gone.

// Bare Minerals Pure Radiance All Over Face Colour //
This is a little gem of a highlighter came in a point perk set from Sephora, I thought nothing of it then one day I tried it along my cheekbones, and wowza! It's stunning, it makes you look like a golden goddess, just look at that swatch above. I'm not sure I would put it all over my face as the name would suggest, but on the high points of your face, it's dreamy!

// Formula X Enigma Nail Polish //
Have you ever painted your nails a colour that you just can't stop staring at? This shade for me hits the jackpot, it's opaque in two coats and the brush is nice and wide making application easy, breezy! I'm a huge fan of the Formula X range plus I've just tried their topcoat and let me tell you I'm very impressed.. so stay tuned!

An old favourite that I decided to re-visit, this lip butter is such an easy - throw on kind of lip product, that works with a bunch of different looks, I really can't fault it!

After a turbulent 6 months of dealing with spot after spot my skin has been left with quite a bit of scaring and redness, thankfully this lovely serum came to my rescue. I've been using it for around 3 months now and I can definitely see a difference in both the marks and in texture. It's expensive but I feel so much more confidant without make up and you can't put a price on confidence can you? Though here's a tip, if you live near a CCO definitely check if they have it because I found it (in York) for £38 instead of the regular £50 price tag.

// Lifestyle //
Game Of Thrones!
 OMG, that finale though!! Well, that just deserves 2 exclamation points. If you haven't started watching GOT yet, what are you doing with your life? Do it, you can thank me later.

// Teen Wolf //
I've bulldozed through all four seasons of this teen drama over the last few months (think The Vampire Diaries with wolves) and I can't wait for it to come back! It's fab to put on if you've had a hard day and just want to watch something fluffy, plus there's some serious eye candy - watch out Damon Salvatore, Derek Hale's coming for you!

Do you have anything to say about the products I've mentioned? What have you been loving this month?

XOXO Claire

    I LOOOOOVE body butters from The Body Shop. Coconut sounds awesome! I've just received a Coconut lip balm (Glossier Balm Dotcom, YOU'VE GOT TO TRY IT if you haven't already!!) that smells like toasted coconut sweetness. I can imagine how heavenly that and this Coconut butter would be together!
