Spanish Sephora & Duty Free Haul

As soon as our flights to Spain were booked I started scouring the Internet for the nearest Sephora location (even before we had booked our accommodation) priorities people, priorities. As it turns out I found two, one smaller stand in a department store called El Corte Ingles and another larger store in the La Cañada shopping center. With the bright lights, gorgeous scents wafting and a few birthday euros burning a hole in my pocket I went to town.

But first lets start in Duty Free, where the most damage happened! (I was on holiday, don't judge me)

Sephora Haul
Chanel Haul
// Mac Dark Side Lipstick //
// Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Perfume //
// Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue //
// Chanel CC Cream //
// Kiehls Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Eye Perfector //
// Kiehls Skin Rescuer //

It looks like I need a skincare superhero inspecting this little collection haha, no.. I did have a serious wishlist and it was my birthday, so you know, I had a little splurge. Though I do blame both Alix and Suzie in equal measures!

 The Estee Lauder perfume has been one that I would sniff every summer for the last four years, but I just couldn't decide whether I liked it enough to spend the money on it. Then I figured that there must be something that kept me coming back and you know what.. I absolutely love it. I definitely recommend taking the plunge if you're in the same boat.

You can never have enough summer worthy bases and these two by Chanel and Bare Minerals were at the top of my wishlist. I will make sure to report back as and when I've had time to try them out. A new Mac lipstick addition never really needs an explanation, now does it haha, though this particular shade doesn't exactly scream "summer".

I'd been on the hunt for a new daily moisturiser and this one from Kiehls sounded right up my street, the eye corrector was an impulse purchase I will admit, but I do love my FAB version so I'm interested to see how they compare.

Moving on to the motherland:

Too Faced Haul
// Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette //
// Formula X Nail Polish in Enigma //
// Formula X The System Set //
// Sephora Matte Lip Cream in 01 Always Red //
// Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster For Face //
// Kiko Tri- Bal Soul Baked Blush in Deluxe Coral //

I walked into Sephora with one purchase in mind, the Stila Eyes Are The Window Palette in Soul...only to descover they didn't sell it, damn! I wasn't too sad though as I happened to swatch the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and fell in love, so stunning! (Let me know if you would like to see a swatch-type post?)

Another thing that caught my eye was the Formula X The System Set, seeing as I'm a nail polish addict always looking for a new favourite topcoat, in my basket it went! (Look out for a full review coming soon).

I'm always on the lookout for a new red lip and I have it on good authority that this one is a serious winner, so I bought one for me and one for my bestie as we are going to see the queen of the red lip, Taylor Swift on Wednesday! OMG....

So there we have it, quite a lot of products for me to play with and I will definitely let you know what I think of everything.

What have you guys picked up recently?

XOXO Claire
