Beauty Edit: Looking Back Through My Blogging Archives

After five years, over five hundred blog posts and at nearly1200 Bloglovin followers, you could say my blog's been on quite a journey. Today I thought I would take a little stroll down memory lane and re-live a few of my older posts. There are definitely a few that I am especially proud of and I know not everyone has been with me since the beginning, though if you are one of those people - know that you have truly made my blogging experience and I wouldn't still be sat here typing, so thank you!

Ok, lets go back in time... (I've also left the links to said posts if you fancy having a read (and laugh) in full).

Meeting Lily Pebbles & Vivianna Does Makeup
When I Met Lily & Anna.
Every blogger has people they admire and for me it was these two ladies! Last summer I finally got to meet them in person and I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life.

Meet Daisy The Cockapoo.
Another day I made sure to document was when a gorgeous blonde bundle of fluff entered my life. You always forget how small they were as a puppy, shes nearly three now, boy how time flies.

Why I had a gastric band
Being Candid About My Weight.
I've always been open and honest on my blog and this was probably the most personal post I've ever written. It may be a bit controversial, but to me it was worth it.

OOTD: Afternoon At Oulton Hall.
This post might not seem so special, but it was actually the first outfit post that I felt comfortable with, so it definitely has a special place in my heart.

Blogging Tips
The Lipstick Always Fits!
In life clothes may not always fit, so you need to find something else to make you feel fabulous.

What I've Learnt From Blogging.
Over the last five years the whole blogging process has changed considerably, so I decided to reflect and let you know what I've learnt.

The Charlotte Tilbury Face (With 3 Alternative Lip Colours).
This was the first fotd post where I did three alternative lip colours. I was so happy with how it turned out and it cemented my love for CT.

Lets Blame The Beauty Bloggers.
I've bought so many beauty products on blogger recommendations, so in this post I blame all the gorgeous bloggers who helped spend my money.

NYX Butter Glosses
Stripe Inspired Nail Art.
I've done quite a few nail art posts in my time but this is definitely one of my personal favourites. I actually took my inspiration from a top I had seen on ASOS and just went with it.

NYX Butter Glosses.
This pick is a little strange but I love it because I finally discovered my love of creamy lip glosses. Plus I really like how the pictures turned out.

There we have it, my little blast from the past. I do sometimes cringe at my older posts and think "Why did I write that" or "That picture is terribly out of focus" But overall, I'm so happy with how my blog has developed over the years, plus it's helped improved my confidence, which I am so thankful for. Heres to another five years!
