What's In My Weekend Make Up Bag? (London Edition 2015)

Currently as you read this I'm strolling the streets of London Town visiting my oldest friend, hopefully taking full advantage of the shopping prospects and eating way too many sweet treats. Long gone are the days of me dragging a little suitcase behind me for my weekend expeditions now I have to make do with a tote, which ultimately means... minimal make up. So I thought I would show you what I stuffed into my small weekend make up bag.

Find out what I take with me on a weekend trip to London.
What's inside my weekend make up bag
Find out what's in my weekend make up bag.
Lets start with my base: The Nars Tinted Moisturiser always comes with me as it's light and easy to apply with your fingers. Next up is concealer and I'm giving the L'Oreal True Match a whirl, I'll will get back to you on that one. For bronzer it's a classic, Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, this thing doesn't move out of my handbag. I packed a cream blush in the form of the Stila Convertible Colour in Gerbera
so I didn't have to bring any brushes. Only one mini one for my bronzer. To make sure my #highlightonfleek I brought my mini Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal. Onto brows, nothing new here just the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil & Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, they work so well together.

For eyes and lips I always like a bit of choice, regardless of how long I'm away for (ahem, one night). So, along with my trusty Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, I chucked in 3 mini Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Colour Sticks in Rose Gold, Amethyst & Sugarfrost. My Tarte Gifted mascara was an easy choice, plus it's tiny and I needed the extra room for lip products hehe. Two different lip combinations are a given, so I went for Charlotte Tilbury Lost Cherry & NYX Butter Gloss in Cherry Pie for the bold option and Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pink Venus & NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel for the nude(ish) one. A girl gotta have choices! and these lip duos work so well together, I'm slightly obsessed.

What are your weekend make up essentials? How do you think I did, too much makeup?

XOXO Claire
