July 2015 Beauty Favourites

July was a very make up centered month for me, I tried a bunch of new products, discovered a few gorgeous lip colour combinations and hit the highlight hard (thanks to Jaclyn Hill). Forget contouring, July was all about Strobing, I'm still getting the hang of it but I found a stunning limited edition product to play with, so lets get started:

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette
Mac Whisper Of Gilt Extra Dimension Skinfinish
Kiehls Skin Rescuer
Finding a light weight moisturiser that sits comfortably underneath make up is a challenge, but this little gem from Kiehls hits the nail on the head. It's hydrating, without leaving the skin feeling greasy, it also leaves the skin with the little glow and it comes with a pump! Extra snaps for convenience.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Perfume
I have literally been dowsing myself in this perfume all month long. It smells like summer holidays in a bottle. So even though the weather hasn't been so great, at least I can pretend I'm sitting in the sun sipping a pina colada.

Mac Whisper Of Gilt Extra Dimension Skinfinish
Ok, so I'm being quite the tease mentioning this one, because it was from a limited edition collection a few years ago, but I've truly been loving it. It's genuinely the most beautiful highlighter I have ever come across. Stay tuned, I have a post coming up that shows it in more detail.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pink Venus
This lip pencil is certainly not new and I'm sure it's been mentioned in a monthly favourites before, but it's just that good. In my opinion, it deserves to be mentioned every month. It's creamy formula is like none I've tried before, plus when combined with the lip gloss below, they make quite the gloss power couple.

NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel
I've never been a gloss fan, but since finding these little tubes of heaven, I've definitely been converted. Their formula is so creamy, without being sticky, plus they are super inexpensive. If you fancy seeing this gorgeous gloss swatched, along with a few other colours, "read this post".

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Lost Cherry
Can you tell I've really been into my Charlotte Tilbury/NYX lip combinations this month? This is the shade I turn to if I fancy a pop of colour. It's not as matte and long lasting as the Mac lipsticks or a liquid lipstick, but it does leave a nice stain on the lips. It's a way to wear a bright lip that's a bit more daytime friendly.

NYX Butter Gloss in Cherry Pie
I know what you're thinking "not another gloss" but honestly, if you're not normally a fan of the sticky kind, I defy you to not like these! This one in particular looks so pretty over the top of Lost Cherry. I may be a tad obsessed! so I'll stop now, ahem.

Formula X The System
I would like to call July the no chip month! Every nail polish I wore lasted nearly a week with out any chipping and I owe that to this fantastic set from Formula X. You can read more about this set in "this post". In my opinion the topcoat kicks the butt out of Seche Vite (never thought I would say that, but it's true!)

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette
Last, but by no means least, yep another CT product. What can I say, she knows her stuff! As you can probably tell by the messy pan, I used the heck out of the bronzer this month. It's a beautiful, soft powder that warms up your completion without leaving you looking muddy or orange. Pricey but oh so worth it!

What products have you been loving this month?

XOXO Claire
