November 2015 Beauty Favourites

It's been quite a while since my last favourites post, I always seem to miss the deadline, so this time I made sure to get my beauty act together. I've been doing quite a bit of shopping over the last few months and I have a fair few "new products" to rave about, but I kept it to just a couple for this post because we all know I can ramble on, so without further a due lets get started:

Clinique Take The Day Off Balm Product Review

Ren Claryfing Facial Toner
I go back and fourth between toner pads (I like the First Aid Beauty ones) and chemical exfoliators, it depends how lazy I am, or how low my stack of cotton pads is haha. Anywho, I've recently been using this toner by Ren a couple of times a week. It's gentle, but it really helps my skin maintain a glow, especially as the weather is getting colder. I like to think of it as the product that keeps my skin ticking over, shedding the dead skin and helping reduce my breakouts. Plus it's pretty inexpensive compared to other chemical exfoliators on the market.

Clinique Take The Day Off Balm
I find removing my make up such a chore, so I like products that are quick and that get the job done! This balm does the job brilliantly, I just scoop out about a 2 pence piece sized amount, rub it between my fingers to emulsify it and apply it to dry skin. My make up just melts away, if you fancy reading a  review in full, here's the link to that post I did a while ago.

Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar
One of my favourite beauty products to try out are shampoos, you can gauge pretty quickly whether they are any good and this bar from Lush is no exception. It's pretty unusual, a solid bar of shampoo? but it's actually a really great idea. You can either rub it all over your scalp or through your hands, which is what I do and it creates a lovely lather. Not only does it make my hair squeaky clean without drying it out, it also smells lovely (very fresh, with a mixture of lemon and sea salt). This bar is gonna last me ages, plus it's perfect for traveling. Now I want to try a few more of their shampoo bars, so make sure to leave me your recommendations below.

Burberry Military Red Lipstick
Burberry Kisses Military Red Lipstick
Ok, so this lipstick might just have to be a favourite because of it's size, it's so tiny. Don't worry though, the lipstick itself is pretty gorgeous too. Creamy formula, high pigment, this red lipstick has everything a bright lippi wearer would want.

Burberry Skin Light Glow Blush in Earthy Glow
I've been wearing this "eye shadow/blush" literally, all month long! It's one of those warm toned, matte brown shades that can be popped all over the lid and just be worn alone. It's definitely a one wash wonder. Burberry Make Up has been on the whole, a huge favourite for me too!

Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette
Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette
If you're a neutral eyeshadow fan, looking for a new everyday palette, this beauty is gonna be your new BFF. Not only does it have Stila's most famous shade - Kitten, which by the way is an absolutely stunning highlight colour, but it has a gorgeous selection of both shimmery and matte shades. Sunset, a buttery burnt copper has probably been my most used colour this month, it's beautiful in the crease. Seriously you just need to go swatch this palette, the pigmentation of these shadows is incredible and as palettes go it's pretty affordable too.

What products have you been loving this month? Do you have any recommendations for me?

XOXO Claire

  2. I was so tempted to get the Burberry blush in Earthy Glow, its still on my wish list - such a unique shade I can see it working really well as an eyeshadow as well. The Lush seaweed shampoo I've heard lots of great things about especially it giving your hair volume! I've tried one of their shampoo bars before but I can't remember the name it was a reddish pink with a cinnamon stick stuck on top and I really enjoyed it. The Ren toner is one of my absolute fav toners, especially when I'm breaking out a little it heals and gets rid of the pimples so fast - I can't be without it. And that Stila palette is gorgeous, I think every shade in there is perfect! I should bring it out again and use it - its been sitting at the back of my drawers for so long, you just reminded me of its beauty again. What a great post, I really enjoyed it! xx

  3. I love your November favourites! The Clinique cleanser sounds fab and I think I need to get my hands on the Lush shampoo bar! I've never tried their hair products before but the scent sounds like something I'd go for.
