January 2016 Beauty Favourites

I think January was a pretty successful month for beauty products, I discovered a few that I know will become permanent staples in my routine. I thought it only fair, that I share them with you, this is a beauty blog after all, so lets get cracking.

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil

I'm normally a let my hair dry naturally kind of girl, but what with the cold weather we've been having I couldn't help but pick up the hairdryer. Unfortunately, when I use my hairdryer I get a tonne of flyaways. Luckily this cream really helps control my seriously frizzy hair, it also help protect against heat damage (which is a bonus) and just keep things smooth. Can we also appreciate the beautiful blue packaging, what a beauty!

This lotion has been my savior over the last month, my skin has been absolutely horrendous, with multiple spots popping up what felt like, by the hour. While I'm still trying to figure out what's causing my sudden blemish outbreak, I've been putting this pink lotion on every other night to help dry them up, and it really works. My spots look smaller and flatter, plus less angry and red. It's pretty inexpensive as skincare products go too, because you only have to dip in a cotton bud and apply. Now, if I could just figure out how to stop them popping up to begin with...

Thanks to Santa, I've been slathering my skin in this luxurious oil before bed and it's been keeping my skin lovely and hydrated while I sleep. I definitely wake up with skin thats plumped, smooth and glowing. Apart from my few cystic spots which I've mentioned (damn you). An ingredient called Blue Tansy gives this oil it's gorgeous cobalt colour, which I actually love, it makes it unique.

Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

This one was obviously no surprise if you've read this post, I just can't stop banging on about these eyeshadows haha. What's not to love about smooth, buttery, highly pigmented shadows that are half the price of Mac ones? Nothing that's what! My favourite shades so far are, Creme Brule, Mocha, Shimma Shimma and Grandstand they're all pure perfection!

Lorac Pro Contour Palette

Unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with razor sharp cheekbones, so I have to fake them. This palette from Lorac makes it so easy, even for someone like me who doesn't have very polished "Contour" skills haha. As you can probably tell, I use the Light Contour shade, being that I'm Caspar's paler cousin, but it's just the right tone, not too ashy or orange. I also like to use the Beige Highlight shade to set my under eye concealer. The powders are so soft you just need one tap of product and you're good to go.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsicks

You're probably sick and tired of hearing me rave about these Liquid Lipsticks, mainly if you saw this post, but I won't apologize. The formulation is everything I look for in a lip product, especially one that I want to "stay put all day". These are three of my favourite shades from the Eternally Yours Set, Fiery, Aria and my personal favourite Patina. If you're new to the whole liquid lipstick trend I definitely recommend starting with this formula!

What have you been loving over the last month? Do Tell..

XOXO Claire
