Deborah Lippmann Sweets For My Sweet Nail Polish Set

I'm just gonna say it "I'm done with Winter".  Bring on the warmer weather, light evenings, blooming flowers, light jackets.  I want to be able to wear my sunglasses damn it! So I'm embracing Spring, if a little earlier than normal by whipping out my pastel nail polishes. Last week I treated myself to this swoon worthy, almost macaroon inspired "Sweets For My Sweet" miniature nail polish set by Deborah Lippmann. Did I need any more nail polish? No, not really, but I'm like a moth to a flame when it comes to pastel shades. I mean, just look at them and tell me your heart doesn't flutter!

All I can think of when I look at this shade is that part in Spice Girls The Movie (don't pretend that you haven't seen it) on the boat where they sing  "My boy lollipop, you make my heart go giddy up, you are as sweet as candy, not much of a dandy" (haha I have no shame.)

"Deborah Lippmann Sweets For My Sweet" Mini Nail Polish Set
This miniature set is such amazing value for money, I've had a few other sets over the years and the quality of the nail polishes is fantastic, even for miniatures. They are opaque, especially for pastel shades, which normally take quite a few coats. This gorgeous blue shade only took 2 for full opacity. I can't wait to try out more of these lovely colours, my only problem now is, which one to choose next? Make sure to follow me on "Instagram" to be first in the know!

If theses polishes are still a little out of your budget, I have a few other Drustore Nail Polish Alternatives.

Have you tried any Deborah Lippmann nail polishes? If not, what's your favourite pastel shade, you can never have too many, right?

XOXO Claire

  7. Oh my gosh they're just beautiful. Do you recommend their formula? I had one Deborah Lippman pastel shade once and it was awful but I'm so tempted by this set xx

  8. I personally really like the formula, the yellow shade did need three coats but most yellow shades I've ever tried do anyway. It's a beautiful set totally worth it in my opinion :)
