10 Beauty Products To Buy From Space NK?

I know from personal experience that shopping for highend beauty products can be quite intimidating, especially if you're not too familiar with certain brands. I normally tend to stay clear of beauty counters and do the majority of my beauty shopping online, after reading numerous product reviews of course. If you've followed my blog for a while you'll know I pretty much log onto Space NK on a weekly basis, to see what new products are "Hot" in the beauty world. The amount of NDulge points I've racked up over the years can certainly vouch for my spending habits, hehe. So I thought I would put together a little guide of 10 "must have" beauty products, that you can pick up in store or order online from Space NK.

A picture of 10 of my favourite beauty products from Space NK
One of my all time favourite bases has to be Nars Sheer Glow Foundation £31. It's just a great all round foundation that can be used to create a medium coverage, flawless satin finish for any special occasion, or become an easy to apply light, everyday staple. Coincidentally, it also happens to be the first product I ever bought from Space NK, all those many moons ago. If you fancy reading my review in full, I'll leave you the link "Nars Sheer Glow Foundation Review".

A great accompaniment to the Sheer Glow Foundation is the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer £22.50. Thanks to it's high coverage formula it can be used around the face to cover pesky blemishes, plus it can really brighten the dark, under-eye area. A little really does go a long way, just make sure to set it down with a powder as it can sometimes crease. Damn you oily eyelids.

I never apply any eyeshadow without my beloved Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base £19.50. It locks my eyeshadows firmly into place, even cream formulas, enhances the colours and adds longevity. It may not be cheap, but this little tube is actually very deceiving, it lasts quite a while. If you're into wearing eyeshadow, I really suggest investing in this primer, your smokey eyes can thank me later.

A picture of Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencils & By Terry Ombre Blackstars
If you're after a pretty epic matte lipstick with superb staying power, look no further than the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencils £20. The immensely pigmented creamy formula, in a easy to apply bullet, makes these pencils a great starting point for someone who fancies dipping their toe in the bold lipstick pond. They have  an enormous shade range, though I recommend the shades Cruella, Sex Machine and Dragon Girl, the latter of which I recently did a whole post on, so you can read this: "A Nars Lipstick Fit For A Khaleesi" to see swatches. I didn't intend this post to be such a "Nars" centered post, but you can't deny it when a brand gets products just right.

If you're feeling spendy or just want to add some pure luxury to your make up collection, the By Terry Ombre Blackstars £28 are the ones for you. The shade Misty Rock is probably their most famous shade and for a good reason. It's a stunning metallic lilac grey, with fine silver shimmer running throughout it. Used all over the lid, in conjunction with other eyeshadows, or just under the lashline it looks beautiful either way and once they set they don't budge. There are similar products on the market, but nothing as luxurious.

The Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm £9.50 is the product I've probably raved the most about in my 6 year blogging history, plus it's the one product I've re-purchased the most, I think this is currently my 4th pot. It's the most hydrating lip balm, I have ever tried. I can put it on before bed, and still feel it on my lips the next morning. It does take a few uses to get accustomed to the matte texture, especially if you're a regular chapstick fan, but trust me, you will never go back.

Arguably the most expensive item on this list and in my whole beauty collection, but the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil £85 is still a regular staple in my nighttime skincare routine. This oil is the only one I've tried that hasn't broken out my combination skin. Its retinol complex and blue tansy infused colour make my skin feel plump, smooth and hydrated. A few drops are all you need, I've been using it 3 times a week for the last 7 months and I still have half a bottle left, so I think that speaks for its self. Will my wallet weep when the day comes to re-purchase it? Absolutely, but I couldn't imagine my routine without it.

My skin certainly has expensive taste, but the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm £48 sits at the top of the balm cleanser food chain. It's a very thick, hydrating balm cleanser that gently melts off stubborn makeup, including mascara. My skin always looks so glowy afterwards and feels incredibly soft. If you're bored of your regular cleanser and fancy splurging on something very fancy, I definitely recommend this one, glass jar and all.

A picture of the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
One of the brands most associated with Space NK is Oribe. You've probably heard all about the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray £19, it's the Beyonce of the hair styling world and with good reason. It gives you a crazy amount of volume and hold, without leaving your hair sticky or crispy. The full size is an eye-watering price so the miniature can give you a taste, beware though it will leave you wanting more.

The Oribe Apres Beach Wave & Shine Spray £19 is an easy way to create, what I like to call "lazy waves" It gives you that messy bed head look without using any heat. I prefer to spray it in my wet hair before doing a plait, it gives you gorgeous natural waves.

What are a few of your favourite products from SpaceNK? Let me know if you'd like to see a drugstore version of this post, or maybe Sephora perhaps?

P.S Just so you know, this isn't a sponsored post, as a huge Space NK customer, I thought it might be fun to give you a rundown of a few my favourite products. Though if Space NK do fancy sending a few products my way, they will be welcomed with open arms, hehe.

XOXO Claire

  1. I'm sure I will raid and lost myself in Space NK if I were to visit UK, I can only dream of these beautiful and cult favorite babies until that day come. I'm personally really interested in Oribe because while I've found perfect solution for my skin, I'm yet to find one for my hair.

  7. I'd love to but the shipping price + tax sometimes make the price ridiculously expenssive (I'm in SE Asia so I could have paid double or more than the actual product cost). I will just save up so I can visit UK soon ;)
